Choose which chips you see

Twenty-two content types with their own sets is a lot of buttons. The list decides which of them reach the row.

1. Open Preferences → Preview and transforms.
2. Pick a content type on the left, under Quick buttons.
3. Switch off what you never tap.
4. Drag the rows into the order you want.

The order you set is the order of the chip row, and the order ⌘T walks through while the popup is open. The chip you reach for most belongs at the top.

A type you have never touched shows everything it has. The moment you flip one switch, that type follows your list — which is why the first switch appears to hide several chips at once.

Notes have their own list, at the bottom. Until you touch it, the note editor mirrors your Text selection; change one switch there and the two go their own way.
