⌥⌘F opens a bar that edits the text you are about to paste.
Sometimes the text is almost right and one word has to change before it lands.
Matching is literal and ignores case. Every replacement is a step in the chain, so ⌫ takes it back like any chip, and ⏎ pastes the result.
The last five pairs are remembered: the ⌄ menu offers Replace again with the ones you used before.
The same bar exists in the note editor, where ⌘F opens it and the replacement applies to the whole note as one undo step.
Klipto skips the bar for very long text, above fifty thousand characters, because the scan runs on every keystroke.
