Make your own folders

Tabs across the top of the popup are folders. Three are managed by Klipto — History, Favorites, Notes, and Stacks once you save one — and the rest are yours.

1. Open Preferences → Favorites and folders.
2. Click New folder at the top of the list and give it a name.
3. Drag folders to change the order of the tabs.

Rename and delete live in the ⋯ menu beside each of your own folders. Favorites and Notes cannot be renamed or moved: other parts of the app look for them by name.

Putting something in a folder

Open the preview of an item, use the ⌄ menu, and pick the folder under Add to folder. A note is different: notes live in Notes, and the ⌄ menu offers Move to instead.

Snippets can be reordered inside a folder by dragging, both in the manager and in the popup.
