Give a folder its own shortcut

A folder you use every day deserves its own key. The shortcut opens the popup with that folder already in front.

1. Open Preferences → Favorites and folders.
2. Select the folder on the left.
3. Click the shortcut recorder and press the combination you want.

The popup opens unpinned, exactly as ⌥⌘V does: pick an item and it pastes, press ⎋ and it closes. Pressing the same shortcut again while that folder is open closes the popup; pressing it while a different tab is open switches to the folder.

The shortcut belongs to the folder, not to its name, so renaming keeps it. Deleting the folder releases the combination.

If a combination is already taken by another Klipto shortcut, the recorder says so and tells you which one holds it.
